Medical Artists’ Education Trust are celebrating 25 years 1997-2022

Medical art students of the MAET Postgraduate Programme are exhibiting a wide range of work at the Old Operating Theatre between 30th June to 31st July 2022. Come and see beautiful and detailed artworks highlighting the intricacies of the human body, both anatomical and pathological.

Visit the wonderful Old Operating Theatre Museum and Herb Garret, St. Thomas’ Church, 9A St Thomas’ Street, London SE1 9RY, open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday each week between 10.30am until 5pm, last entry at 4.15pm.  For visiting and further museum information please go to: https://oldoperatingtheatre.com

MAET students displayed a wide range of excellent artwork at the 70th MAA annual Conference, Madingley Hall, Cambridge.

With Louise, Merlin and Julia all receiving their qualifying MAET Postgraduate Course Certificates from the MAET Trustees Chairman, and their MAA Professional Membership Certificates from the President of the MAA.

Alongside four selected MAET Foundation students who were each awarded a Whitaker Award for their excellent work. Gallery below:

3rd April 2019

Merlin Strangeway and Julia Ruston, both submitted for their Final Examination, passing with flying colours and distinction grades.  Gallery below:

11th October 2018

Many MAET students and MAET supervisors travelled to Antwerp for the AEIMS and BIOMAB joint conference.

5th December 2018

Louise Hinman submitted for her Final Examination coursework and passed at The Barbers Surgeons Hall.
