This is a preliminary course which starts in October each year, for those who need to develop their drawing skills prior to embarking on the Medical Art Postgraduate Programme. It consists of (up to 9) monthly sessions and homework which is discussed at each following tutorial. Life drawing classes are strongly recommended and students need to organise these at a local college. Completion of the course requires that a series of finished, mounted studies are presented to the MAET Examining Board. On successful completion of this course, students are ready to embark on the full Postgradute Programme medical art syllabus.
